Minutes of the Altamont Patio Condominium

I. Confirmed quorum had been met.
A. Elected officers
1. Everyone kept the same position held last year.
B. Approved 2009 budget
II. Discussed bldg. maintenance
A. Painters will correct Presley's patio work
B. Signs at pool will be put back in place correctly by painters
C. Will look into possible solutions for dirt flowing over back retaining wall
D. Light will be erected to illuminate mailbox area; higher wattage bulb will also be placed in existing post near same area
E. Rotting window trim wood on A row will be looked into
III. Discussed proliferation of realty signs on upper corner of property
A. Decision made to remove signs and provide realtors and owners with another option for posting property for sale via corkboard, website, and possible other options to be researched
1. Notice will be placed on patio doors to advise; certain amount of time, to be noted in letter/notice, will be given to comply
2. Exception will be made for one-day signs announcing Sunday open houses
3. Wess objected, but offered constructive suggestions once it was clear he was in the minority on this issue
IV. Landscaping
A. Presley is making plans to replace tree that was removed with a pink dogwood
V. Gnomes
A. Sadly, the gnomes have to go.
1. Owner will be notified.
