Old Business:
Review and discussion of delinquent
accounts took place.
Wess Short announced the pool was now chemically ready for swimming.
Bart Jones indicated Stan Paula with Davie Trees would soon be touring the complex to ascertain which patio trees were not in compliance with Association Rules and will provide a cost estimate for removal. The cost of trimming trees not in compliance will be owner's responsibility.
Bart also announced that Cooks Pest Control just treated for carpenter bees.
Letters addressing issues pertaining to satellite dishes, trash, rules, and parking have not yet been sent out, but Bart indicated these would be sent very soon.
A unanimous vote was made to accept the proposal for repair of the roofs supporting the ac/units that was presented in the previous months board meeting.
New Business
A portion of the arbor of unit
C14 is in need of repair and Metcalf indicated they would have Dan Hollingsorth
tend to this matter as soon as possible.
Jo Simpson also asked Metcalf to follow-up with Mr. Hollingsworth pertaining to work needed on her porch landing and base of steps.
No solicitation signs were discussed and suggested as a means to reduce unwanted solicitation in the complex.
Metcalf will start incorporating into the Board Meeting Notice letters a clause reminding all members that if two meetings are missed by a member without advance notification, they will be removed from the board.
Due to infrequent use and cost to operate same, the Coke machine in the laundry room will be removed.
It was felt that this year we did not need new flags poolside.
Units E-15 and D-18 have requested to have their doors painted. All requests in the future should be submitted to the Board for approval.
It was noted that unit E-6 was displaying a For Rent sign in the window. As this is not allowed, Metcalf will send a letter asking the owner to promptly remove same and refrain from placing signs in the window in the future.
The next scheduled meeting will be held on April 27th at 6 p.m. at the office of Metcalf Realty.
