Minutes for 2003 December (Annual Meeting)--continuation 01-22-04

Annual Board Meeting-- continued
January 22, 2004

Wes Short, President, began the meeting at approximately 6:00 p.m.  It was noted that the Board had obtained a quorum for acceptance of the nominated board members.

The 2004 Board Members are:
Wess Short
Presley Burns
Charles Chapman
Charles Baird
Jo Simpson
Shirley Williams
Derrick Crawford
Janet Roberts

The continuation of the 2003 Annual Meeting was then closed.

Next a Board of Directors meeting was held, with the above referenced attendees, for the purpose of electing the 2004 Association Officers.  The following were elected:
Wess Short, President
Presley Burns, Vice-President
Charles Baird, Treasurer
Jo Simpson, Secretary-Webmaster

It was discussed that the new door to the laundry room, with keyed entry lock, had been installed.  All owners, tenants, were to be provided with the access code.

Review and discussion of the Past Due Account list took place.

It was also noted that the water bill had doubled for the past month.  Bart will make arrangements to check for possible existing leaks, as the consumption rate seemed excessive.  The cost of water/sewer has significantly increased over the past year or so and remains a big portion of our monthly expenditures.

Jo Simpson brought up the Cooks Pest Control charges, and said she would call to get a breakdown of what these charges represented.  Charles Baird offered to get some competitive quotes on this service for our review.

Jo Simpson also said she would purchase 12 insulation covers for all the outside water faucets to hopefully alleviate any from freezing during extreme cold weather.

The next planned meeting will be Tuesday, January 24, 2004, 6:00 p.m. Metcalf Realty.
